How to Conduct an Ergonomics Assessment in an Industrial Environment

This seminar will cover an introduction to ergonomics and how to identify work activities with ergonomics related risk. Attendees will learn the steps for preparing for and conducting a workplace survey. The presentation will include an easy to use industrial checklist for identifying hazardous task. Attendees will practice using the check list and developing solutions.

Mindy Smith, MEng, CPE
Mindy is a Certified Professional Ergonomist with over 20 years of experience in industrial, military, office, and hospital environments. Her clients include the FBI, US Marine Corps, Smithsonian Institution, and the Department of Defense Inspector General.
