Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene (FIH)

Advanced Safety Certificate (ASC) Course

This National Safety Council course will prepare you with the tools you need to implement a strong industrial hygiene program. It covers 15 topics and examines the four key industry processes: anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control. Plus, it introduces terminology, principles and practices of industrial hygiene.

This course is taught in an interactive format and is supported by case studies, group discussions and hands-on equipment demonstrations to reinforce the material. FIH is designed especially for safety, health, environmental and management personnel who have industrial hygiene responsibilities.
